## How liquidity works

GX LP Vault sits at the centre of GravityX. The vault takes the other side of every trade on the venue, and its operator hedges only the net exposure on external venues. Capital is held in three separate on-chain pools: vault capital (takes the other side of every trade), client capital (traders' margin and balances) and dealing capital (funds hedges on external venues).
